Booking payments & Trials:
A holding deposit of £150 is required to secure your wedding date this is deducted from your final balance.
Your Holding Deposit does not include payment for your trial. All trial fees are to be paid separately. Trial Fees are none refundable!
Trial fees are to be paid at the time of booking your trial date.
All holding deposits will need to be paid within 1week of your enquiry to secure your date. If your wedding date is within 3 months of your enquiry the holding deposit will need to be paid immediately.
Dates are given on a first come first serve basis.
Requested dates cannot be held without a reservation fee, said dates will be open to other enquires in the mean time.
A trial typically takes around 4 hours.
All Trials are to be taken place at the artist’s home studio
We do travel to the bride’s location if required, travel time & travel fees will be charged as an additional cost.
Refunds cannot be given on work that has already been carried out.
Eyelash application is complimentary during the trial but priced at an additional £15pp on the wedding day. Application of guests own lashes are charged at £5pp.
Hair Extension application is complimentary during the trial but priced at an additional £15pp on the wedding day
Following a successful trial a 50% non-refundable deposit is required of the total booking.
The remaining balance is to be paid 4wks prior to the wedding date.
If your wedding is date is within 3 months of your trial date the full balance is to be paid within 24hrs.
Cancellations or changes to your booking:
-Cancelling services anytime between your booking date and 3 months prior to your wedding date will require no further charge, any holding deposits paid will be retained.
-Cancelling services within 3 months of your wedding date will require 50% of the quoted balance.
-If you wedding date is within 3months of your enquiry 50% of your quoted balance will be required to secure your date.
-Cancelling any service within 4 weeks of your wedding date will require 100% of the quoted balance to be paid.
If you wish to postpone or change the date of your original booking a new reservation fee will be needed to secure your new date.
Postponements that are being made due to a wedding date falling within a government enforced lock down will be transferred the original reservation fee.
Any bookings postponed to a different year may be subject to yearly price increase.
If there is a considerable change to your booking within the 4wks of your wedding date we will do our best to accommodate your new date, if we already have a booking on that date we will do our best find a replacement artist however we are unable to issue a full refund.
If there are changes to your bridal party by adding extra people on to your original booking they can only be accepted if time & resources allow, we would also require prior notice & payment. No discounts will be offered for theses services.
Assistant Artist:
For larger bridal parties that exceed 3x hair & 3x makeups, where there isn’t enough time for one stylist to get everyone ready in the required time or to give the bride a later more convenient start time extra assistants will be required to ensure a smooth running of the day, this is charged at an additional fee of £200 per assistant.
Assistant fees are not included in any offers or discounts.
Any services required not stated above would be charged accordingly upon consultation.
All artists working under Powder Blue weddings have full public liability insurance to protect both themselves & the client.
Early morning bookings where we are to start before 7am will require a surcharge of £50. Per hr
Travel Expenses:
All additional travel costs will be added to the final quote, this includes travel for assistants, travel costs are not included in any offers or discounts. Travel costs may include taxis/uber due to early starts or disruptions with Tfl.
If travelling in the Congestion charge zone this will be added to travel expenses as well as any parking or toll charges.
Travel costs are based on an estimate & maybe subject to change, this does not reflect the final cost.
Location changes are charged at £100.
Travel & hotel costs for weddings 2hrs from the artist’s location or outside of London are additional
Although we are London based we will travel to any where in the UK including destination weddings. Flights, accommodation as well as travel to & from the venue will also need to be covered.
Flights & accommodation will also need to be covered if an assistant is required.
An additional payment of £200 for travel days either side of the Wedding day will also be required.
Discounts & Special offers:
Discounts cannot be offered for bride only services.
Discounts are not valid on Lace or Pearl packages.
Discounts are only offered on your final wedding package anything out side of will be charged at full price.
Discounts & special offers are not included on assistants fee or travel expenses.
All discounts & special offers are subject to change if the number of services initially booked are reduced or altered & are solely at our discretion.
COMPANY CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the unfortunate event that an artist/stylist of Powder blue is unable to perform services on the trial date or wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made. Every effort will be made to replace the artist at short notice where possible, this cannot be guaranteed & is subject to a replacement artist’s availability. A full refund will be issued this does not include payment for any trials that have taken place.
